Potos Thassos

Potos was firstly created in about 500 years ago, as a child-village of Theologos, which was the capital of Thassos. Families and independent people from Theologos, moved in Potos and worked as fishermen or as farmers.

Since the early 60's, the first European tourists showed the way for the investment in touristic fascilities, specificly for the wider area of Theologos, which occupies almost the one third of Thassos, as it was the most gifted place in beauty.

Lacy coasts merge the crystal and blue waters with the greenish, sweet from the honey pine. Endless sandy beaches made of perls, match perfectly with the internal mountainous landscape. The rich flora and fauna of the region, testifies the healthy ecosystem.

Potos hosts each year thousands of tourists and this is not happening by accident. It combines the easy destination that one can have everything with one move, with the tourism of tour and adventure.
